Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing Design
What is Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing Design?
Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design involves planning, organizing, and creating drawings within code limitations for heating, cooling, electrical, and plumbing systems. These systems are the heartbeat of a functioning building, and they take up a lot of space. Their position and layout are an integral part of MEP design that will greatly affect the efficiency, comfort, and safety of your building.
Our MEP designers are committed to professionally handling the intricate parts of your systems’ designs.

- Comprehensive electrical system design
- On-site power generation requirements and distribution
- Critical power systems
- Integration of IT and AV into overall building design
- Device coordination and arc fault services

You review the plans and give the go-ahead when you’re satisfied.
Construction Documents & Permits
You’ve got the paperwork in hand to bring your building to life!
What are the advantages of Earth & Sky’s mechanical, electrical & plumbing design?
Our MEP designers are in-house with the creative and structural building designers.
Our MEP design process can happen in tandem with the structural and creative building design process. If a last-minute change pops up, say in the creative or structural design of the building, we can collaborate on those changes in-house rather than holding up the process while we sort it through with a separate company.
Our MEP design is flexible.
Some of you want to be involved in each decision, from interior lighting fixtures to bathroom layout and hardware. Others of you may prefer the designer to generate the layout and present you with the plans. We’re happy to work with you whether you want the bare minimum or whether you’re looking for features that add to the character of your building.
